It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Mario Neves. Born on May 20th, 1941 in Praia Do Almoxarife, Acores, Joe passed away peacefully at Met Hospital in Windsor with his family by his side on July 4th, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Eduardo and Matilde Neves. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria, his sons Jose Rogerio (Lucy), Enio (Betty-Ann), Mario (Helia), Jose Maria (Mindy), Ed (Rebecca), Victor (Diane), and his daughters Silvia (Ilidio) and Lisa (Alan). Also survived by his brothers Jamie (Clara), Eduardo (Maria) and sister Fatima (Humberto). Joe has also left behind 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His brothers and sister in laws are also left to mourn his passing.  He will be greatly missed by his friends that he loved to play cards and dominoes with, or cheer on his favourite soccer team, Benfica. Will also be sadly missed by his four legged friend Rosie. The Portuguese community has lost a caring, wonderful man, and we hope you can join us to celebrate his life.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 9th from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Prayers Sunday 3pm. Funeral Monday 10:15 am from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to Our lady of Perpetual Help church for Funeral Mass at 11am.
