SERVICE EXCELLENCE when you need it most.
With great sadness, we announce that Leon passed away at home, on July 6, 2017, while surrounded by family and friends, at the age of 68. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born June 1, 1949 to Sylvia Drouillard and the late Ernest. Left to mourn his loss are his wife of 45 years, Paulette (née Mayrand), a son Michael and a daughter Christine. Pépé had a special place in his heart for his “favourite” granddaughter Elise. Leon shared his growing up years with his sister Germaine (Preston) and his late brother Roland (survived by Priscilla). Cherished “extended family” Francis and Nancy et fils. Leon retired from Chrysler Canada after 32 years of service. He was an avid boater, gardener and Jack of all trades. He always had time to lend a helping hand and never met a stranger.
If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor or the St. Joseph’s Church Building Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.
In keeping with Leon’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
