Dorothy Pope

Jan 23 1922 - Nov 10 2017

Longtime resident of Windsor, Ontario, daughter of Patrick George Pope and Albina Louise Picard, died Friday November 10, 2017 at Brouillette Manor in Tecumseh.  Born January 23, 1922 having lived a long life, Dorothy was preceded in death by many friends and family including brothers Joseph, George, Larry and Cy as well as sisters Beatrice, Roma, and her twin Doreen.  Dorothy, a talented knitter, loved to socialize with her friends.  She could easily be talked into a coffee at Tim’s and was an avid fan of ballroom dancing. Sundays in her youth she could be found at church then reading the funny pages to her loved ones.  Dorothy is survived by her great-niece Sarah and great-nephew Patrick, as well as her great-great niece Erin.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Gina (Patrick), Joseph, Jean Hebert, and Anne (Mike) Garvin as well as Dorothy (Jack) Uzun.  A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Brouillette Manor for their compassionate care of Dorothy.

If you so desire, donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
