It is with great sadness that we wish to announce the peaceful passing of a loving Wife, Mom and Mémé on December 2, 2017 at the age of 74. Cherished wife of Ivan for 54 years. Dear Mother of Michel (Debbie), Robert (Denise), Lee-Anne Dupuis (Jean-Guy), and the late Richard (1999). Proud Mémé of Danielle Mayrand (Kevin), Eric, Luc and Jocelynne Marcoux, Michel Gallerno, Ryan and Matthew Dupuis, and Gage Marcoux. Great Mémé of Charlotte and Tyler. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Agnes Gagnier. Dear sister of Betty Alexander (Gerry), Germaine St. Pierre, Norm Gagnier (Betty) and predeceased by Ludger Gagnier (survived by Rose-Marie), Bernard Gagnier (survived by Marguerite), Gerard Gagnier (survived by Marie-Rose), James Gagnier (survived by Linda), Stanley Gagnier, Blanche Mosco, Dora Houle (Gerard), Bernice Houle (Maurice), Rosabelle Houle (Roger), Norma Sauve (Edward), Dianne Whitehead. Dear sister-in law of Gemma Belanger (the late Paul), Colette Kessel (the late Al), Doris Thompson (Herb), Lise Santarossa (the late Norm), John Marcoux (Sue) and predeceased by Clem Turmel (survived by Geraldine), Art Turmel (Mona), Rémi Marcoux, Charlotte Maurice, Eloi Marcoux (survived by Raymonde) and Jeanne Marcoux. Georgina will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Georgina was a retired nurse from Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital. She was involved in many sports and she loved to play cards with friends. She was a wonderful Mémé that would not miss any of her grandchildren’s events. If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential Homes would be appreciated by the family.
