It is with deep regret that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Otto, on January 30, 2018, at the age of 84. Cherished husband of Katarina. Loving father of Caroline and husband Paul Gowen of Dallas, Kimberly and husband Brian Sladek of Chicago. Proud grandfather of Harrison. Missed by sister in law Anne Zanoni of Chicago, nephews Steven Zanoni, Jim and wife Molly Klote of Virginia and nieces and nephew in Germany. He will be greatly missed by all his dear friends that became his family.
Otto immigrated to Canada in 1953 and received his engineering degree shortly after. He was the owner of Lunar Industrial where he build a wealth of friends and was an icon in the industry. He was an avid sportsman, and loved to travel. He and Katarina developed many friendships around the world.
If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation, February 2nd from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor. On Saturday, family and friends are invited to Gethsemane Lutheran Church (1921 Cabana Rd. W.) for a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
