It is with shock and dismay we announce the sudden death of our beloved son “Chance “a-Lee” Gauthier”, 16 years, of Windsor ON, on February 14, 2018. He was born on May 28, 2001 in Windsor ON and is the loving son of Kimberly and Scott Gauthier. He will be overwhelming missed by his brothers Kalem Romphf (Kelly Caul) and Adam Gauthier. Beloved grandson to John and Jacqueline Snell, Exeter ON and the late Leo and Carol Gauthier, Belle River ON; Dearest nephew to Grant and Nancy Coon, Kelly and Jim Lacey, Leo Gauthier, Mark and Barb Gauthier, Rosanne and Denis Lauzon, Tom and Leona Gauthier, Alvin and Rae (2017) Gauthier, and the late Christopher Gauthier (2007). He was very much loved and will be immensely missed by his God parents Lindsay and Derek Trepanier, Belle River ON. Chance held a special place in his heart for all his nieces and nephews, Nancy and Nea Caul, Dakota Gauthier, Peyton Trepanier and the true apple of his eye Jordyn Trepanier. He will be extremely missed by all his many cousins and their children, but especially missed by his “Snap Chatting” cousin Jenna Lacey, and his “Scootering” cousins Brett, Cole and Jake Lacey.
Chance was involved in a large variety of sporting organizations within the Windsor and Tecumseh Area; He loved, soccer, broomball, lacrosse, football, badminton, basketball, bowling and fishing. He attended school at Our Lady of Lourdes grade school, Brennan High School and St. Joseph’s High School where he developed numerous unconditional friendships with students, coaches and staff.
His humor, smile, and genuine caring heart will be remembered by many friends, team mates, and close family friends. Chance touched many lives in his short time on earth.
Cremation will be held. Memorial Visitation Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841
