Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Rosemary (Sutts). Cherished father to Doug (Kelly), Shelley (Scott) and Kathy (Ty). Devoted grandfather to Nicole, Curtis, Bobbi, Krista, Karli, Jake, Ayden, Jessica, & Josh. Great grandfather to Karter. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred Sr & Cora Fryer. Loving brother of Lorraine & Pat Pouget Sr., Geraldine & Reford Amlin, Frank & Babe Fryer, Dorothy & Doug Rickwood, Vincent & Marjorie Fryer (all deceased), Peggy & Glen Murray Sr. (deceased), Pat (deceased) & Margaret Fryer, John (deceased) & Joan Fryer, Betty & Tim Quinn. Dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bob retired from Windsor Salt and had a successful career as chief chemist. He had a strong passion for sports and was a dedicated fan of all his grandchildren’s sporting activities. Cremation services were entrusted to Families First Funeral Home, 585 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg (519-969-5841). There will be a celebration of Bob’s life at St John the Baptist Church, 225 Brock St., Amherstburg, at 11am on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Memorial visitation with the family to begin at 10am until time of memorial service at the church and the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made towards the St. John the Baptist Restoration project.
